Michalka sisters, Aly and Amanda, are singers and actresses. They started out as a duet and released several albums. The ladies are from Torrance, California. Aly & A.J. debuted in 2005 with the album Into the Rush. Some of their songs were used by Disney Channel movies and brought them additional attention. Soon they released several more albums.

In 2015 they reunited for EP Ten Years which was released 2 years later. The sisters also act in various movies and series on their own. They support charity organizations and raise money for good cause.
